flesh and lamenting beauty
of youth lost.
It wants you to abandon your mortal pride
decries fate
but I believe in fate in a way

nothing more

what will happen
will happen
bound by the moving forces of the world
like gravity
chemistry.
That foolish voice forgets
we are also
moving forces of the world.
Nothing is permanent
and that voice wants us to morn it
instead of loving it
while we have it.
